Procter and Gamble Alumni Foundation

Elements Foundation was given the distinction of being one of eight privileged organisations worldwide out of seventy to be awarded the prestigious grant from the Procter and Gamble Alumni Foundation of $10,000. In the past, this grant has been won by highly reputed organisations such as the Restavek Freedom Foundation in Haiti, the Greater Austin First Tee, Austin, Texas and the Zimkids Orphan Trust, Zimbabwe. We are the only Indian organization this year and only one of three from India in the entire history of this award.

World Bank Development Marketplace Grant

In the year 2011, we gained the distinctive honour of becoming one of the 14 winners of the World Bank Grant of $50,000 out of 264 applicants worldwide. This was granted to us for our project of training and placement of 250 underprivileged youth in the state of Bihar.
The project commenced in Darbhanga and presently two batches of 60 students each are under training.

50 Social Entrepreneurs: Outlook Business

In 2009, Nishant Saxena was profiled by Outlook India as one of 50 Social Entrepreneurs in India. This distinction was granted to only the CEOs of those organisations that work towards a profit motive, but their work and purpose of it has an inherent base of social welfare.

Sankalp Award

For their efforts in increasing employability in India, the company won India’s first Sankalp award: Education-Growth Category – supported by Rockefeller Foundation, TiE, VCCircle, and NABARD. The award was brought to India for the first time after a successful run in US and UK. It aims to reward “social enterprises” that not only hold promise to become the next big thing, but also have a significant developmental impact on the country, specifically looking for “ideas that aim to solve pressing issues of the day in a sustainable and profitable manner”.
